Serhan Acar, 1 Eylül 2020 tarihi itibariyle Türkiye Otomobil Sporları Federasyonu Genel Sekreterliği görevine atandı.

2000 – 2013‬ yılları arasında TOSFED’de Basın Sorumlusu Yardımcılığı, Sportif Direktörlük ve Genel Sekreterlik görevlerini yürüten Acar; Formula 1 Türkiye GP’si ve WRC Türkiye Rallisi dahil ülkemizde yapılan pek çok ulusal ve uluslararası organizasyonlarda üst düzey görevler üstlenmişti.

Atama ile ilgili bir açıklama  yapan TOSFED Başkanı Eren Üçlertoprağı Serhan Acar’a bu yeni görevinde başarılar dileyerek “Birlikte daha büyük projelere imza atacağımıza inancımızla, otomobil sporları için aynı heves ve heyecanla çalışacağız.” dedi.
